Funeral services & visitation in Grand Rapids, Michigan will be: Visitation Friday 4-8 P.M. and Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive, Grand Rapids, MI, Funeral Services & Visitation in Elsie, Michigan will be: Visitation, Sunday 2-8 P.M. and Funeral Services will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, 221 E. Main Street, Elsie, MI. Rev. Vic Wilson & Rev. Michael McCoy will officiate with burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ovid, Michigan.
Dean was born in Owosso, Michigan on September 17, 1964 the son of Lawrence L. & Dorothy M. (Nourse) Kadolph. He resided in the Ovid - Elsie Area before moving to Grand Rapids in 1985. He graduated from Ovid Elsie with the class of 1983. He received an Associates Degree from Ferris State College. Dean married Martha Loynes on May 2, 1987 at the Carland United Methodist Church. He was a Maintenance Supervisor for Waste Management in Grand Rapids. He enjoyed woodworking, hockey, and helping others he was also a member of Moose Lodge #2381 Drummond Island, MI
He is survived by his wife Martha Kadolph of Grand Rapids, MI, 2 sons Donovan & L.D. Kadolph at home, parents Lawrence & Dorothy Kadolph of Elsie, MI, 2 brothers David & Kris Kadolph of Holland, MI, Douglas & Rhonda Kadolph of Saginaw, MI, grandmother Erma Kadolph of Owosso, MI, and 3 nieces & 1 nephew Jessie, Zachary, Alexis, & Lindsey. He is predeceased by 2 grandfathers, & 1 grandmother. Memorials may be made to Education Fund for his children, Hospice of Michigan or American Cancer Association. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
