Deann Rockafellow

Deann Marie Rockafellow age 33, of Elwell, MI, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00 A.M., with Dr. Douglas Jackson officiating.  Burial will take place at Pritchard Cemetery, Elwell, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Deann was born in Cass City, MI on March 21, 1985, the daughter of James Parker and Susanne (Craig) Syers. She graduated from Calvary Baptist Academy in Midland, MI. Deann married Eric Rockafellow on June 1, 2018, in Ithaca, MI.

Deann loved the many years spent as an EMT in San Antonio, TX. She loved animals, especially her beagles, Todd and Jeff, and her Shih Tzu sister Saydy Bug. She enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening and taking care of her house plants. She liked cooking for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Eric Rockafellow of Elwell, MI; mother Susanne and Mike Syers of Saginaw, MI; father James and Amy Parker of Bay Port, MI; brother Jeffery Parker of Duncan, OK; father and mother in law Roger and Dorene Rockafellow of Alma, MI; 3 sisters: Shannon Black of Marlette, MI; Megan Quinn of Marlette, MI; Alysyn Quinn of Sebewaing, MI; grandfather Bob Parker of Caro, MI; uncle Karl Glover of Saginaw, MI; and aunt Chris Barrons of Saginaw, MI. Deann is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by grandparents Renate and Terry Craig and grandmother Delores Parker.
