Deborah Forcier

Deborah L. Gray-Forcier, age 60, of Laingsburg, Michigan passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.

A Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel, St. Johns, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 9, 2011 from 4-8 PM and Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Services will also be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday February 17, 2011 at Rogersville Funeral Home, Rogersville, AL. Pastor Alex Bayes of Rogersville Church of Christ will officiate. Visitation will also be on Thursday February 17, 2011 from 11-3 PM at Rogersville Funeral Home, Rogersville, AL.

Deborah was born in Rogersville, Alabama on April 27, 1950, the daughter of J.D. and Dorothy (Erminie) Gray. She resided most of her life in Michigan, moving here from Alabama at the age of 13. Paul and Deborah were married on February 21, 1970 at the Trenton Church of Christ.

Deborah worked as an Administrative Assistant at Michigan State University. She will be remembered for her special way of just loving life, she also loved going to gospel concerts and enjoyed bluegrass music. Deborah was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Deborah is survived by her husband Paul Forcier of Laingsburg, MI, son Paul Joseph and Sarah Forcier of Kansas City, KS, son Jason and Angie Forcier of Lansing, MI, daughter Barbara and Michael Seltzer of Manassas, VA, son Matthew Ernest Forcier of Lansing, MI, many grandchildren, and brother J.D. Gray Jr. of Rogersville, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother David Gray, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
