Debra Kay Moline, age 65, of Alma, MI, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 4, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center, Alma surrounded by her family.
A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, MI, A.M. on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Phil Maxwell officiating. She will be buried at Monette Cemetery, Monette, AR at a later date.
Debra was born in Monette, AR on September 16, 1956, the daughter Edgar Ray and Lois Arizona (Gammill) Walker. She graduated with honors from Monette High School, Monette, AR with the class of 1974, where she lettered in softball. On September 7, 1980, Debra married Terry Joseph Moline in Clare, MI. They were blessed with 42 years of marriage. She and Terry have owned and operated Moline Heating & Cooling since 1989.
She liked anything outdoors: animals, fishing, Lake Michigan, and camping. She was an incredible athlete and was fiercely competitive. She loved Christian music and attending the Unity Festival. Most of all, Debra loved her family and devoted herself to her children.
Debra's last words of advice were, "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain."
She is survived by her husband Terry, and three children: Kellee (Joel) Devers of Paragould, AR; Justin (Nicole) Moline of St. Johns, MI; and Melissa (Jeff) Miller of Winnetka, IL; six grandchildren: Bryson Devers, Makaila Moline, Karleigh Moline, Hudson Moline, Elliott Miller, and Emery Miller; and sister Kathy (Eugene) Archer. She was also loved by nieces and nephews: Kristie, Kallie, Lexi, Trinity, Kristin, Matthew, and Carter; and cousin Tonya. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother David Walker, and father-in-law Harold Moline.
