Debra Jean Wilson, age 58, of Alma, MI died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma, MI.
A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor George Showers officiating.
Debra was born in St. Johns, Michigan on April 28, 1954, the daughter of Raymond Eugene Teall and Joyce Ellen (Caesar) Snell. She graduated from St. Johns High School with the class of 1972. Debra retired from General Motors Oldsmobile in October 2004, after 27 years of service. She liked sewing, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She also enjoyed playing yahtzee and cards with her friends, and the coffee was always on at her house.
She is survived by her 2 daughters; Stacy Marie and Joe Hynes of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Heather Danielle and Aaron VanHorn of Sumner, MI, 2 grandchildren; Aaron Jr. and Alexandria VanHorn, 4 brothers; Roy Burgess of St. Johns, MI, Lenny Burgess of St. Johns, MI, Raymond Burgess of St. Johns, MI, Raymond Teall, Jr. of Sanford, MI, 2 sisters; Ellen Upham of Rhodes, MI, and Diane Teall of Sanford, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Walter Snell, and a sister Jacqueline Sue Little.
