Delores Kruger

Delores Faye Kruger age 74 of Dewitt, Michigan died Monday, May 22, 2006 at Edward Sparrow Hospital Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church St. Johns, MI on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Tim Knaus will officiate with burial at South Bingham Township Cemetery St. Johns, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Delores was born in Linton, Indiana on May 3, 1932 the daughter of Garrett and Geneva Elizabeth ( Fisher ) Smith. She resided most of her life in DeWitt area. She graduated from high school in Knox, Indiana in 1950. Delores married Lawrence F. Kruger on March 17, 1951 in Winamac, IN. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and spending time with her grandchildren. Delores was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Johns.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence Kruger of Dewitt, MI, 2 sons; Larry & Marsha Kruger of St. Johns, MI, John & Karen Kruger of Flushing, MI, 3 daughters; Jean & David Woods of Lowell, MI, Joann & John Prohaska of St. Johns, MI, Judy Kruger of Lowell, MI, 16 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents.

Memorials may be made to New Tribes Mission or Child Evanglism Fellowship. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel.
