Delsie P. Stewart, age 92, of Owosso, MI passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at Memorial Healthcare Center.

Funeral Services will be held at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, KY on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Leon Eskridge will officiate. Burial will take place at Green River Cemetery Cromwell, KY. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI. Visitation will also be held on Monday, October 11, 2010 from 4-8 PM at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, KY.

Delsie was born in Ohio County, Kentucky on April 1, 1918, the daughter of Everet and Lela (Childress) Phelps. She graduated from Cromwell High School. Delsie married John T. Stewart Sr. and he passed away in 1986. She was a homemaker, and loved to quilt. Delsie resided most of her life in Beaver Dam, KY and Owosso, MI.

She is survived by a son John T. and Roxanna Stewart of Branch, MI, a grandson Austin Stewart of Austin, TX, 2 sisters; Opal and Oles J. Havens of Cromwell, KY, and Alma Mae Geary of Hartford, KY, and brother Jerry and Charlotte Phelps of Beaver Dam, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters; Ruby & Josephine, and 2 brothers Henry Clay & Kenneth.
