Denise Davis

Denise Rae Davis age 62, of Harrison, MI, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 9, 2018, at home surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Daryl Armrozowicz officiating.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.  Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, MI at a later date.

Denise was born in Goodrich, MI on January 19, 1956, the daughter of James Allen and Joyce (Herington) Trumbley.  On June 17, 1986, Denise married Gayle Davis in Owosso, MI.

Denise loved her family above all.  She enjoyed doing crafts of all sorts with her family.  Anything that allowed Denise to spend time with her family and friends was important to her.  She was always making family gatherings fun, especially for the grandkids.  She loved to joke and had a great sense of humor.  In her younger years, Denise loved to dance.  She was the housekeeping supervisor at Tendercare in Clare for several years.

Denise is survived by her husband Gayle, 4 children: Anthony (Angie) Davis, Michelle (Michael) Wyon, Bobbie (Paul) Schad, and Tonya (fiance' Timothy Numerich) Heckman; 11 grandchildren: Leticia Davis, Tristin Davis, Michael (Sara) Davis, Dustin (Destiny) Wyon, Jonathan Davis, Chaine Wyon, Tyler Wherry, Bailey Wherry, Raymond Schad, Cameron Cords, and Alexah Heckman; and 7 great grandchildren: Jayden Davis, Andrew Davis, Paislee Wherry, Peyton Wherry, Kyler Wherry, Addeline Wyon, and Russell Hunter.  She is also survived by her siblings: Bridgett Patterson, Iola Trumbley, and Charlie McNiel and special friend Judy Hasselbring.  Denise is preceded in death by her parents, infant son Robert Allen Robinson, daughter Shannon Robinson, and great-granddaughter Hope Rose Davis.
