Denise Laurae Nicholson age 53 of Corunna, Michigan died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Brian's House, Davison, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Friday, February 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Ray Strawser will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008 from 9-11 at the time of service.

Denise was born in Owosso, Michigan on August 13, 1954 the daughter of Elwood and Betty ( Teets ) Manee. She resided most of her life in Owosso & Corunna, MI and graduated from Owosso High School. Denise married James Nicholson on March 4, 1995 in Owosso, MI. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing & knitting. Denise was very talented working with her hands. She always had a kind word for someone, trying to build them up. She was a strong woman and she was always concerned about others. Denise was a member of the Cornerstone Church of God.

She is survived by her husband James Nicholson of Corunna, MI, daughter Ashley Snow of Perry, MI, son Eric Hoose of Owosso, MI, sister Debra Manee of Owosso, MI, brother Greg & Sandra Manee of Owosso, MI, sister Rhonda Miller of Owosso, MI, grandson Austin of West Virginia, and several nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, and brother Lonnie Manee.

Memorials may be made to Brian's House. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.
