Dennis DuFault

Dennis Loren DuFault, age 57, of Owosso, MI passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center, Flint, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 30, 2011 from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Dennis was born in Flint, Michigan on January 2, 1954, the son of Donald and Jenny (Rougelet) DuFault. He was a graduate of Northern High School of Flint and resided most of his life in "God's country" (Owosso). Dennis married Toni Reynolds on July 7, 1990 in Davison, MI.

Dennis worked for General Motors at the Truck & Bus Plant in Flint and formerly at Grand Blanc Weld Tool Center. He enjoyed cars & car shows, especially his 1978 T-Bird. Dennis was always the "go to guy" if anyone needed anything. He was a talented craftsman who shared his gift with everyone. Dennis will be greatly missed by his family & friends.

His family, recognize him as a wonderful blessing in their lives, and an amazing husband, father, grandfather (Lulu), and friend. He is survived by his wife Toni DuFault of Owosso, MI, son Jason and Gwen Wright of Swartz Creek, MI, 2 granddaughters; Hope & McKenzie Wright, sister Kateri and Steve Weiss of Phoenix, AZ, mother-in-law Sue Reynolds of Flint, MI, sister-in-law Debbie and Barry Meadows of West Virginia, niece Stephanie and Buddy Childers, great-niece & nephews; Alex, Kailey & Tristen. Also survived by his dog Ike who will dearly miss his best friend. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers; Duane and Perrin DuFault.
