Diane Marie Kenney, age 60, of Ithaca, MI passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11-1 at the funeral home.

Diane was born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 4, 1951, the daughter of John Henry and Axie M. (Beard) Mailand. She graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1970. Diane married Daniel Kenney on September 18, 1971 in Riverdale, MI. She enjoyed camping, photography, flower gardening, traveling, and cooking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her husband Daniel Kenney of Ithaca, MI, parents John and Axie Mailand of Alma, MI, 3 daughters; Amanda and Matthew Mankey of Ithaca, MI, Emily and Brad O'Boyle of Elwell, MI, Sarah and Chris Allen of Beverly Hills, MI, 9 grandchildren; James, Alyssa, Lane, Lindsey, Cole, Megan, Jacob, Charlotte, and Spencer, brother Ron and Mary Mailand of New Hampshire, sister Sharon and Don Zimmerman of Ithaca, MI; and brother James Mailand of Belmont, MI.
