Dianna Salter

Dianna Lynn Salter, age 66, of St. Johns and Six Lakes, MI died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns, MI on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Steve Gulick officiating The family will receive friends on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Dianna was born in St. Johns, MI on March 29, 1947, the daughter of Rolla Marshal and Dorothy Mae (Pratt) Salter. She was a State of Michigan retiree after 26 years of service. Dianna was a free-spirited, adventurous woman who loved to travel and enjoyed her family immensely.

Dianna is survived by her mother Dorothy Salter of Six Lakes, MI, 2 sisters; Kathy Salter and Debra and Jeff Barrett of St. Johns, MI, nieces; Tina (Kurt) Ziegler, Teresa (Kevin) Litwiller, Lynsey Smith, nephew Bean (Amy) Barrett, great-nieces; Jessi (Jason) Kincaid, Brandi Ziegler, Samantha Smith, Halie and Emilee Litwiller and Elli Barrett and great-nephews; Brian and Marshal Teelander, Kevin Litwiller and Cole Smith and many close friends. Dianna was preceded in death by her father, Rolla M. Salter and her dogs Max and Taco.
