Dillan was born in Alma, Michigan on August 17, 2004, the son of Benjamin James and Tamara Marie (Thompson) Abell. He graduated from Ithaca High School, Ithaca, Michigan.
Anyone that knew, Dillan, knew of his strength, determination, and strong will. He had to beat his brother, Benjamin, in everything from getting not only more deer but a bigger deer, beating him in every video game, he ever taught him to play. He even beat the odds with his cancer. When diagnosed, the doctors thought he had weeks and he made it almost a year. He always had to prove you wrong.
He always believed one day he would be famous. He was always making his sister, Lillian, take pictures of him. He loved watching his brother, Keeton, play football; he was his #1 fan. He loved hunting, spending time with his siblings and friends, playing video games, and skateboarding. He was obsessed with music, even going so far as creating his own songs, recording them, and putting them online for anyone to hear. He also loved playing sports, even meeting his friends at the basketball court for a game of 3 on 3. He became a huge U of M fan after attending his first game in September with his uncle. He also made a lot of friends there with the players and fans.
He is survived by his mother Tamara Abell; father Benjamin Abell; his sister Lillian Abell; brother Benjamin Abell; brother Keeton Abell; grandparents: Mark and Carrie Thompson, Jenene and Barry Hodges, and Joseph and Tina Abell. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
