Donald Francis Bachert

      Donald Francis Bachert, age 74, of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center - Midland, Michigan.
      A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, Michigan, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, with Dan Wheeler and Alberto Perez officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Howell, Michigan at a later date.
      Donald was born in Pontiac, Michigan on September 8, 1950, the son of Francis Reynolds and Katherine Margaret (Nau) Bachert. He graduated from St. Louis Adult Education. Don proudly served his county in the U.S. Army.
      Don is survived by four step-children: Raymond Parcher, Jr., Teresa (Dan Wheeler) Parcher, Sally Parcher, and Victoria (Alberto) Perez; nine grandchildren: Michelle Parcher, Elizabeth Harcourt, Austin Harcourt, Eric Parcher, Adriana Perez, Emmanuel Perez, Alanna, Perez, Alyssa Perez, and Alberto Perez; 2 great-grandchildren: Alexandria, and Dakota; and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Katherine (Harold) Benger, his father Francis Bachert, his brother Richard Bachert, and his sister Karen Spoor.
