Donald Graff

)Donald J. Graff died October 9, 2008, at the age of 76. He was born in Fowler on July 3, 1932, the son of Paul and Elsa (Falk) Graff. He was a retired farmer, a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, enjoyed Indy cars and played softball for Miller's Tavern. Donald married Marie Lause in Fowler on August 19, 1977.

Surviving is his wife, Marie (Schafer) Graff, his children, Ronald J. (Heidi) Schafer of Portland and Sarah M. Schafer (Cary Scheuher) of South Lyon, grandchildren, Caitlin and Collin Scheuher, brother, Paul Graff of St. Johns, sisters, Elizabeth Sawall of Kansas and Eunice (Alan) Steffe of Grand Blanc, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Amelia (Fischer) Graff.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 13, 2008 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 329 N. Sorrell, Fowler, burial at Mt. Rest Cemetery with Pastor Paul Clark officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Saturday and Sunday at the Goerge Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes, 11112 W. Ionia, Fowler. Sympathy may be expressed in the form of memorials to Visiting Nurse Services of Michigan or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
