Donald Hebeler

Donald Lee Hebeler, age 78, of St. Johns, MI died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at his home.

Memorial Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel, St. Johns, MI on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Bob Prange officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 8, 2011 from 2:00-8:00 PM with the family present 2-4& 6-8 P.M.

Donald was born in Ovid Township, Michigan on October 22, 1932, the son of Robert Clark and Pauline (Kuripla) Hebeler. He served his country in the US Army. Don was a Tool Room Supervisor with General Motors retiring in 1988 after 35 years of service. He also farmed and owned/operated Don Hebeler Excavating.

He is survived by 3 sons; Paul and Debra Hebeler of Elsie, MI, James Hebeler of St. Johns, MI, Bruce and Deb Hebeler of St. Johns, MI, daughter Shari and Albert Koenigsknecht of Fowler, MI, very special loved one Donna Powell of St. Johns, MI, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brother Robert and Pauline Hebeler Jr. of Ovid, MI, and sister-in-law Mary Lou Hebeler of Ovid, MI. Don was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Richard Hebeler.
