Donald R. Larson, age 76, of Elsie, MI passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. with an hour of visitation prior to the service from 6-7 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.

Donald was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 9, 1932. Donald married Marjorie Agnor on June 9, 1951 in Owosso, MI. Donald retired in 1995 from M.M.P.A. working there for 17 years. He resided in Elsie since 1953 moving from Owosso.

He is survived by his wife Marjorie Larson of Elsie, MI, son Rick Larson of Elsie, MI, daughter Judy Larson of Elsie, MI, 4 grandchildren; Charles Larson, Joshua and Stephanie Larson, Sara Larson, Shawn Larson, 3 great grandchildren; Jessica Larson, Madison Larson, and Desiree Beachler. He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Van Alstine, a son Terry and a daughter Jeanne.
