Donald Mull

Donald Raymond Mull, 81, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at his home.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 3:00 P.M., with Pastor Steve & Deanna Zuker officiating.  Visitation will take place prior to the service from 1 - 3 P.M.  A full course meal will follow at the Senior Center in Ithaca, MI.

Donald was born in Salisbury, PA on November 4, 1937, the son of Sidney and Florence Maxine (Menhorn) Mull.  Don served his country in the U.S. Army.

Don married his beloved Mary Lee, on January 23, 1960 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Frostburg, MD.  He was an influential family man and friend; an anchor of wisdom, love, and strength. He will be missed by all who knew him!

Don was a stone, brick & block craftsman. He thoroughly loved his craft and being active in all ways of construction.  He took the phrase "a job worth doing is worth doing well" to a whole new level. With that philosophy, he worked, helped and touched so many lives with his art form, from PA to CA. Don took great pride in the end results of his projects, which were always proof of the God-given energy, beauty and creativity he loved to share through his craft.

Don loved Jesus Christ.  Along with his two sons and many of the loved ones who went before him, Don is now healthy & rejoicing in his Savior’s presence. Don was a member of The Rock Ministries in Ithaca, MI.

He is survived by his wife Mary Lee Mull, of Ithaca, MI; daughter Madonna Mull-Bodin of Ithaca, MI; grandchildren: Alexci Bodin of Phoenix, AZ; David Bodin of Gilroy, CA; sisters: Joyce McGhee of Corvalis, OR; and Brenda Haning of Westfield, PA; and many loving nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sons: Donald Lee and David, and brothers: Allen and Sidney.
