Donald Weaver

Donald Lee Weaver, age 53 of Vestaburg, MI, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center - Midland, Midland, MI.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Seville Community Church of God, Elwell, MI on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 4:00 P.M., with Pastor George Showers officiating.  A luncheon will follow at the Church for friends and family to share memories and time together.  Burial will take place at a later date at North Star Cemetery, North Star, MI.

Donald was born in Alma, MI on May 31, 1965, the son of Robert Glen and Harriet Erma (Schlarf) Weaver.  He graduated from Alma High School with the Class of 1983.  Don resided most of his life in the Vestaburg area.

Don was a Plant Manager at Alma Container, where he was employed for 33 years.  He loved the outdoors.  His dog, Boone was very important to him.

He is survived by his mother Harriet Miller of Ithaca, MI; sister Robin and Dave Gingerich of Alma, MI; brother Herb and Kathleen Weaver of Alma, MI; step brother John Miller of Alma, MI; step brother Merle Miller of Alma, MI; step sister Laura and Bryn Snearey of Burton, MI; his free-spirited gypsy Jen Knowlton Keller.  Don is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Don was preceded in death by his father Robert Weaver, step father John Miller, step brother David Miller, grandparents Don & Genevieve Weaver and RG & Lottie Schlarf, and step-grandparents Willard & Ruth Miller.
