Donna Bell Dumond, age 85, of Flint, MI passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at McLaren Hospital, Flint, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Keith McKinnies officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home and on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Donna was born in Fairfield Township, Michigan on March 20, 1930, the daughter of Donald and Ruby (Darling) Taylor. She attended country schools in Ovid and graduated from Ovid High School. Donna married Leroy Dumond on September 29, 1949; he passed away on August 15, 2010. Donna was a talented cake decorator and a Girl Scout Leader for 15 years. Donna resided most of her life in the Ovid and Elsie areas. She was a member of Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle Flint, MI.
She is survived by 2 sons; David L. and Charis Dumond of Corunna, MI, Larry D. and Esther Dumond of Corunna, MI, 5 grandchildren; Brandye and Tom Hunt, Charita and Shawn Willey, Larry and Kristy Dumond Jr., Tamara and Brian Dumond Peterson, Nicole and Phil Demeter, 14 great-grandchildren, and siblings; Betty Pettigrew, Barbara Stewart, Lois Wadsworth, Robert and Sharon Taylor, Linda and Leo White, Richard and Sandy Taylor, James and Diane Taylor, Gordon and Kathy Taylor, Don Taylor, Dennis and Beth Taylor. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Luann Faye Dumond, grandson Jeremy Dumond and daughter-in-law Sue Dumond.
