Donna M. West, age 74, of Edmore, MI passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Schnepp Health Care Center, St. Louis, MI.

Donna was born in Garfield Township, Michigan on June 12, 1934, the daughter of Harry and Althea (Platt) Smith. She married Robert R. West on October 19, 1967 in Los Angeles, CA. and they resided in Stockton, CA for 30 years. She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed doing puzzles and spending time with her family.
In addition to her loving husband of 41 years, she is survived by her children; Doris Shoemaker of Grand Rapids, MI, Tina and Steve Cavanaugh of Stockton, CA, Danny and Nancy Shoemaker of Grand Rapids, MI, Karl and Vicky Shoemaker of Grand Rapids, MI, Robert and Tonya West of Sparta, MI, Darlene Johnson of Edmore, MI, Tabitha and Raudel Arellano of McBride, MI, 23 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sister Joann of Ocala, FL, and brother Dwayne Smith of Traverse City, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and one sister.
