Dora Imogene Boles age 88 of Ovid, Michigan died Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Ovid Healthcare Center, Ovid, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at M-21 Church of Christ Corunna, MI on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Micahel Guest and Michael Light will officiate with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2007 & Sunday, May 18, 2008, from 2-8 p.m. with the family present 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.

Dora was born in Cookville, Tennessee on June 15, 1919 the daughter of William Hershall and Edna ( Lewis ) Stewart. She resided in Owosso since 1950 and attended Cookville, Tennessee Schools. Dora retired from Midwest Abrasives in 1981, after 31 years of service. She loved spending time with her family, and was a great-great grandmother six times, which she was very proud of. She also enjoyed quilting and was known for her kindness and generosity. Dora was a member for many years at the M-21 Church of Christ.

She is survived by 5 children; Don & Ann Boles of Arkansas, Edith & Dick Foster of Chesaning, MI, Tom Boles of Owosso, MI, Carl & Judy Boles of Montrose, MI, Patrick & Ann Boles of Arizona, 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, 3 brothers; Clarence & Sarah Stewart of Tennessee, Kenneth & Dorothy Stewart of Corunna, MI, Lester Stewart of Tennessee, and sister Fern & Jim VanLuven of Chesaning,. She is predeceased by parents, son Jim, two sisters; Florence & Viola, brother Roy, and granddaughter Carla.

Memorials may be made to M-21 Church of Christ. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.
