Dorotha Mae Townsend age 84 of Port Orange, Florida formerly of St. Louis, Michigan died Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa Florida.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel. Pastor George Showers will officiate with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Dorotha was born in St. Louis, Michigan on August 1, 1920 the daughter of Vern & Clara ( Short ) Coleman. She graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1939. Dorotha was a cosmetologist. She loved antiques and growing orchids. In her later years she sold antiques.
She is survived by 1 sister Mary Jane Woodmansee of Florida, 1 brother Robert & Irene Coleman of Michigan, 2 nieces Sally & Tom Roberts of Mississippi, and Susie & Tom Petty of Michigan. She was predeceased by her parents.
