Dorothea O. Kelley, age 87, of Elsie, Michigan died Friday, February 10th, 2012 at Ovid Healthcare Center.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel, on Tuesday, February 14th at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Edwin Snook will officiate and burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.. at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Dorothea was born in Elsie, Michigan on January 14, 1925, the daughter of Rudolph and Ruby (Evans) Hoshield. On March 22, 1947 she married Donald L. Kelley in Elsie, Michigan, Don predeceased her on March 5, 2008.

She was a homemaker and resided most of her life in Elsie and had a large collection of Santa Clauses.

Dorothea is survived by her daughter, Connie and Wayne Underhill of Ovid, MI; 3 sons Alan and Mary Kelley of Florida: Dale and Penny Kelley of Elsie, MI; Rodger and Joy Kelley of Elsie, MI; many grandchildren several great grandchildren; sister, Beatrice and Bill Baese of Prudenville, MI. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Don, daughter, Cindy Craig, 4 sisters, Genevieve, Vena, Roslyn, Olive and 4 brothers, Charles, Homer, Clayton and Frank.
