Dorothea May “Dotty” McDowell age 95, of Corunna, Michigan passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility, Corunna, Michigan.

A Memorial Dinner will be held at Chesaning Church of Christ 9996 Peet Road, Chesaning, MI 48616, on Friday July 1, 2016 at 5:30 P.M.  Burial will take place at Fairfield Township, Cemetery.

Dotty was born May 14, 1921 the daughter of Thomas and Catherine (May) McDowell.  She resided most of her life in Flint, Michigan and Lyford, Texas.  Dotty enjoyed putting puzzles together.  She was an avid Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, Detroit Redwings and Dallas Cowboy fan.  Dotty helped care for her twin brother’s children.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Dotty was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
