Dorothy Jean Frederick age 80 of Owosso, MI died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Clubhouse at Candlewick Court Owosso, MI.
Dorothy was born in Reed City, Michigan on January 29, 1925 the daughter of R.B. & Ida Mae ( Morrice ) Sturdavant. She graduated from Reed City High School and resided in Roscommon for 20 years before moving to Owosso. Dorothy married Lewis Frederick in Big Rapids, MI on November 26, 1957. He died on December 25, 2003. She was a Jehovah Witness. She was a laborer for a small auto parts factory. She enjoyed watching deer, boating, fishing & camping as well as crocheting, knitting, and spending time with family.
She is survived by 1 daughter Dorothy Jean & Edward Peck of Owosso, MI, 2 sons; Daniel Spencer of Indiana, Donald & Janice Spencer of Corunna, MI, 15 Grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews 1 great great grandson, sister-in-law Pauline Frederick of Reed City, MI. The family would also like to thank 2 nurses Anna Jackson & Bonnie Schmidt for all their care. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, 2 brothers & 2 sisters.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
