Dorothy Ann Koyne age 91 of Corunna, Michigan died Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Shiawassee Medical Care Facility, Corunna, Michigan
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel. Rev. Fr. Robert D. Kolenski will officiate with burial at Pine Tree Cemetery, Corunna, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 5-8 P.M. & Wednesday, February 2, 2005 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
Dorothy was born in Alexander, South Dakota on April 5, 1913 the daughter of George & Lizzie (Buchloz) Voelker. She attended school in South Dakota. Dorothy married James C. Koyne in Angola, Indiana. She resided most of her life in the Owosso & Corunna Areas. She worked as a Grocery Clerk. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Jack & Dianne Walton of Owosso, MI, daughter Linda & Joseph Sovis of Owosso, MI, son James B. Koyne of Florida, daughter Elaine & Melvin Barry of Ohio, 17 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, son Mike, daughter Barbara, and 1 brother Harry Voelker.
Memorials may be made to the Corunna Area Ambulance Service. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral
Homes, Corunna Chapel.
