Dorothy Jane Marr age 79 of St. Louis, Michigan died Thursday, January 27, 2005 at Gratiot Community Hospital, Alma, Michigan
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel. Pastor Lillian French will officiate with burial at Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2005 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Dorothy was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 11, 1925 the daughter of Cecil Kirk & Florence M. ( Williams ) Marr. She resided most of her life in St. Louis, Michigan. She attended St. Louis High School and Central Michigan University. She worked for the State of Michigan and Saginaw General Hospital as a typist. She enjoyed knitting.
She is survived by 1 sister Susanne & William Gray of Ithaca, MI, 4 brothers; Cecil & Jackie Marr of Lansing, MI, Richard & Jean Marr of Fresno, CA, Jim & Phyllis Marr of St. Louis, MI, Terry & Karen Marr of St. Louis, MI, and many nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, 4 sisters; Molly, Jeanne, Venice & Elizabeth, & 3 brothers; George, Harry & Walter.
Memorials may be made to the Commission on Aging. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
