Dorothy Sophia Morton, age 87, of Owosso, Michigan passed away Monday October 1, 2012 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. with Deacon Gary Edington officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until the service at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born in Mankato, Minnesota on February 4, 1925, the daughter of Edward and Emma (Latzke) O'Connor. Dorothy married Robert Morton on February 20 1946 in Jackson, Michigan. Robert passed away March 24, 1983. Dorothy enjoyed fishing and watching Tiger's baseball. She liked word games, puzzles and reading.

She is survived by son Ronald and Joan Morton of Saco, ME, daughter Dawn Milne of Cape Coral, FL, daughter Sharon Lee Morton of Rudyard, MI, son Jaytee and Teresa Morton of Owosso, MI, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son Robert Craig, 1 grandchild, 1 brother, and 1 sister.
