Dorothy E. Nolph, age 85, of Owosso, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor David Strobe will officiate. Burial will follow at Pine Tree Cemetery, Corunna, Michigan. Visitation will be Tuesday March 30, 2010 from 2-8 with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born in Marion, Michigan on March 5, 1925, the daughter of Edward A. and Emma (Madison) Hilden, she resided most of her life in the Owosso area. In February 1942, Dorothy married William Nolph, he passed away in January 1990.
Dorothy was a life member of Corunna VFW Post 4005 Women's Auxiliary and a member of the Owosso Eagles Club. She also attended Corunna United Methodist Church.
Dorothy is survived by 3 sons and their spouses Terry and Judi, Mick and Jude, Tracy and LuAnn, 4 grandchildren Kari, Dusty, Shadoe and Dakota, 4 great-grandchildren Marley, Kamryn, Natalie and Charley. Also surviving are sisters Marie and Lloyd Ford, Jean Pierce, Frances and Don Condy; brothers Ed and Neva Hilden, Sam and Donna Hilden. One brother, Don Hilden is deceased.
She requested in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the Salvation Army, Corunna United Methodist Church or Corunna VFW Post 4005 Women's Auxiliary.
