Dorothy M. Stellow, age 79, of St. Louis, MI died Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Schnepp Health Care Center in St. Louis, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Pritchard Cemetery in Elwell, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Dorothy was born in Flint, Michigan on August 22, 1929, the daughter of Jessie and Ruth (O'Dell) Bayliss. Dorothy married Verle Stellow; he passed away Dec. 24, 1973. Dorothy resided most of her life in the Gratiot County area. She was a cook and enjoyed bingo, making cakes, and was a good caterer. She loved to go to the casino, and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her daughter Vickey Utley of Anchorage, Alaska, son Butch and Michelle Donley of Vestaburg, MI, son Bill and Deb Donley of Sumner, MI, daughter Linda Jewell of Alma, MI, son Rick Donley of St. Louis, MI, daughter Wanda and Steve Snyder of Alma, MI, son Mikey Parcher of Union, MI, 3 stepchildren, 26 grandchildren, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Kyley and Kathy Bayliss of Chesaning, MI, and 4 sisters; Audrey Judge of Lansing, MI, Carol Kluz of Colorado, Sharon Downing of Lansing, MI, and Shirley Ripley of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 grandsons; Patrick Parcher, Gerald Donley, and William James Donlye II, and a brother Jessie Bayliss Jr.
