Dorothy I. Striggow age 93 of Corunna, Michigan died on Friday, August 19, 2005 at Memorial Healthcare Center in Owosso, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel, on Monday, August 22, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 2005 from 2-8 P.M. and burial will be at Pine Tree Cemetery in Corunna, Michigan. Rev. Clifford J. Furness will officiate.
Dorothy was born in Corunna, Michigan on May 8, 1912 the daughter of Duncan & Elpha (Murry) Graham. She attended Corunna schools and resided most of her life in Corunna, Michigan. In 1928 she married Leo F. Striggow in Corunna, Michigan. Leo passed away in 1969. Dorothy was a cook for Corunna Public Schools and during WWII she worked for Redmonda�(TM)s Manufacturing. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Corunna and a life member of New Lothrop Eastern Star.
Survivors include, 3 sons, William & Billie Ann Striggow, Robert & Linnell Striggow, Jack & Carole Striggow all of Corunna, Michigan, 1 brother, Earl Graham of Owosso, Michigan, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, 4 brothers, John, Elton, Duncan, Art Graham, sister, Helen Bloom.
Memorial may be made to the New Lothrop Eastern Star, United Methodist Church of Corunna, Shriners Hospital Transportation Fund, or a Charity of the Donors choice.
