Douglas Miller

Douglas D. Miller age 51 of Breckenridge, Michigan, died Friday, November 17, 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, Michigan on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the chapel. Burial will take place at Jasper Township Cemetery in Midland County, Michigan and Mr. Keith Wise will officiate.
Douglas was born in Alma, MI on December 16, 1954 the son of Carl A. and Beatrice P. (Lyon) Miller. He graduated from Breckenridge High School with the class of 1973. He married Evelyn Shepard in Midland County on June 24, 1978 and was a lifelong resident of Breckenridge. Doug was an auto body repair and painter. His passion was motorcycle racing and riding, including traveling throughout Michigan.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Miller of Breckenridge, 3 sons, Brad & Tonya Miller of Breckenridge, Dustin Miller & Alena Curtis of Breckenridge, Eric Phillips of Saginaw, 1 grandson Dakota Miller, 1 sister of Bonita & Wayne Hunt of Stevenson Lake, MI, brother, of Gary & Gayla Miller of Breckenridge, sister of Brenda & Duane Huntoon, of Sumner, brother, Marvin & Debbie Miller of Huntington, Maryland, sister, Sharlene & Bob Mollema of Breckenridge, his mother, Beatrice & Wilber McNeil of St. Louis, MI, mother in law Gloria Shepard of Alma, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Carl Miller, and father in law Edward Shepard.
Memorials may be made to Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund of Midland or Gratiot Area Hospice.
