Douglas Howard Paul, age 46, of Owosso, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 7, 2008.
Douglas was born in Covina, California on July 18, 1962, son of Carl Paul and Coleen (Burleson) Clutterham. He resided most of his life in Southern California, moving to Owosso 13 years ago.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1980 to 1984 and was employed by Cintas Corporation in Flint, MI since moving here in 1996.
Douglas is survived by Heather, his loving wife of 23 years; two devoted daughters, Kendall (Alan) Wolff of Frisco, TX and Nichole Paul & fiancé Shaun Polzin of St. Charles, MI; grandson, Timmy Evans of St. Charles, MI; mother, Coleen (Bob) Clutterham of Acton, CA; father, Carl (Helga) Paul of La Quinta, CA; sister, Sue (Steve) Mastro and nephew Daniel of Downey, CA; mother-in-law Faith Grady and brother-in-law Bruce Grady both of Bradford, VT; very special friends Don and June Dougherty of New Lothrop, MI and Bill and Deanna Wruble of Corunna, MI.
He was preceded in death by father-in-law, John L. Grady, Jr.; aunt, Nancy Gilliam; and his dearest friend, Douglas Dougherty.
Doug was an avid golfer and could be found at Twin Brooks in Chesaning almost any day of the week. He loved it there! He also loved riding his motorcycle every chance he had.
Douglas will be forever remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel in Owosso, MI. Funeral services will be held at Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Thursday, December 11th at 4:00 pm. Chaplain Beverly Adcock will officiate.
