Doyne Heuer

Doyne Heuer, age 81, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 in Lansing, Michigan. Born in St. Johns July 12, 1927 the son of Robert and Florence (Whittaker) Heuer. Doyne was a journeyman sheet metal worker and retired from Dee Cramer. He was a lifetime member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #7 and attended the First Baptist Church in St. Johns. Doyne married Imogene Beaudin June 25, 1949 in Royal Oak, Michigan and she survives him.

Also surviving are two daughters, Janice (Douglas) Walton of Spring Lake, MI and Jackie (Bob) Mitosinka of St. Johns, and a son, Mike (Julie) Heuer also of St. Johns, grandchildren, Jadon (Ann) Walton, Megan (Chris) Komosinski, Wendy (Dave) Huey, Rob (Jennifer) Heuer, Lacey (Dave) Greer and Nick Heuer and 6 great grandchildren. Doyne was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Christa Mitosinka and sisters, Margarite Walker and Virgene Krebel.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 18 at the Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns, burial in Mt. Rest Cemetery with Pastor Tim Knaus officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, February 16 and 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
