Duane Hehrer Jr.

Duane Ronald Hehrer Jr., age 61 of Owosso, formerly of Elsie, MI, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Hurley Medical Center, Flint, MI.

Per Ron's wishes he will be cremated and a family service will be held at a later date.

Ron was born in Owosso, MI on February 2, 1960 the son of Duane Ronald and Mary Ann (Vostranski) Hehrer Sr.

He graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School with the class of 1978.  On October 16, 1982 he married Sheryl Ann Conklin at the Elsie United Methodist Church.  Ron enjoyed spending time with his family; he loved racing, photography and semi-trucks.  He was an over the road truck driver of more than 30 years.

He is survived by his wife Sheryl Hehrer of Owosso, MI; 3 sons: Duane and Danielle Hehrer of Ovid, MI; Richard and Gabrielle Hehrer of Ionia, MI; Quinton Hehrer of Ovid, MI; 6 grandchildren: Paisley, Kaydence, Emersynn, Stella, Sawyer, and Owen, 2 brothers: Jim Hehrer of Maple Rapids, MI and John Hehrer of St. Johns, MI.  He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
