Dustin Robert "Dusty" Cooper, age 39, of Kentwood, formerly of St. Louis, MI died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Spectrum Healthcare, Grand Rapids, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 116 S. Franklin St., St. Louis, MI on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Terri Bentley will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 2:00-8:00 with the family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Home, 117 N. East St., St. Louis, MI.

Dusty was born in Alma, Michigan on January 21, 1972, the son of Robert L. and Angela E. (Bickel) Cooper. He was a 1990 graduate of St. Louis High School. Dusty earned his bachelors degree from ITT in Grand Rapids. He worked as an Electrical Engineer at CMS North America in Caledonia since 1997. He was fun loving and enjoyed playing golf with his dad and his brother. Dusty was a very loving father and enjoyed spending time with his children. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Dusty is survived by his son Dylan Cooper, daughter Emma Cooper, parents Bob and Angie Cooper of St. Louis, brother Matt and Patti Cooper of Caledonia, sister Mandi and Pat Cook of Dewitt, sister Heidi and Gary Cook of Dewitt, nieces and nephews; Nick and Lauren Cooper, Travis and Katie Cook, Kelsey, Madison and Meghan Cook, aunt Pat and Neil Stacey of St. Louis, uncle Phil and Susan Bickel of Jackson, and numerous cousins.
