Dustin MacDonald

Dustin Kent “Dusty” MacDonald, age 33, of Phoenix, AZ formerly of Ithaca, Michigan passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Funeral Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Ithaca, MI on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Joseph Novak officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 2-8 P.M.

Dustin was born in Alma, Michigan on May 4, 1982, the son of Tim and Jacalyn (Roberts) MacDonald.  He graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 2001. He then went to the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona graduating in 2005.

Dustin lit up a room always singing, smiling, and had a very contagious laugh. He loved spending time with his family and his little dog Rhowen and his many friends. Dustin enjoyed horse back riding, kayaking, and he loved animals. Dustin, with his partner Logan, were chef owners and operators of Inspired Private Chef and Catering.  Gardening was a passion and he enjoyed showing off his produce.

He is survived by his parents Tim and Jackie MacDonald of Ithaca, sister Angie MacDonald of Phoenix, AZ, brother Jason MacDonald of Phoenix, AZ, grandmother Patricia MacDonald of Ithaca, MI, and his partner Logan Hacking of Phoenix, AZ.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Warren and Bernita Roberts and Robert MacDonald.
