Dusty Lee Anderson

     Dusty Lee Anderson, age 64, of Ovid, MI, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, MI.

     A Celebration of Life at United Church of Ovid, MI, on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. with Eugene Blair officiating.

     Dusty was born in Panama City, Ancon (Republic of Panama) on February 22, 1958, the son of Raymond Lee and Virginia Mae (Andrew) Anderson.  He graduated Whitko High School in South Whitley, Indiana with the class of 1976.  Dusty married Debra Jones on February 25, 1978, at Grove Bible Church, St. Johns, MI.

     Dusty retired from General Motors.  He enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling, fishing and camping.  Dusty used his carpentry skills to help anyone with a project they had.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was a member of United Church of Ovid and proudly served his country in the United States Army. 

     He is survived by his wife Debra Anderson; children: Josh and Deb Anderson, Adam and Jarred Anderson, and Jaala and Bernie McClain; grandchildren: Madison, Gunnar, Dustin, Gavin, McKenzi, and Ava.  He is also survived by his sister Renee Fluke; brothers: Randy Anderson, Darrell and Deb Anderson, and Shawn and Julie Anderson.   He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Virginia Anderson, and his grandmother Rosalie Andrew.
