Earl R. Bare age 77 of Ithaca, MI died Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Carson City Hospital Carson City, MI.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel. Rev. John Davey will officiate with burial at North Star Cemetery North Star, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2005 from 6-8 and Sunday, June 12, 2005 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Earl was born in Gratiot County, MI on April 1, 1928 the son of Edward and Lillian ( Dayringer ) Bare. He was a lifelong resident of Ithaca, MI. He attended Ashley High School. Earl married Glendora Putnam on September 28, 1946 in Ithaca, MI. She passed away on December 26, 1988. He married Alice Twining on January 22, 1990 in Las Vegas. Owner & operator of the P & B Gravel Co. since 1957. He developed and operated Just-In-Time Campground in 1979, which he owned for 20 years. He loved to travel, and spend time with his grandchildren. He loved his 1928 Model A and in the past was an avid deer hunter. He really enjoyed doing business with people.
He is survived by his wife Alice Bare of Ithaca, MI, 2 children; Rodney & Sandra Bare of Holt, MI, Renee Bare & Jim Bush of St. Louis, MI, step-son Greg & Jan Saur of Kentwood, MI, 7 grandchildren; Ann Marie Natali, David Natali, Justin Natali, Robi Bare, Korbi Bare, Betsy Saur, Dani Saur, 2 brothers; Willis Bare of St. Charles, MI, Clare & Jean Bare of Ithaca, MI and 1 sister Beatrice & Erine Rozen of North Star, MI. He was predeceased by his parents, and his first wife.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Sparrow Hospice. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel.
