Earl Moriarty

Earl L. Moriarty died January 19, 2009 at the age of 68. He was born January 20, 1940 in Lansing, Michigan the son of Joseph P. Moriarty and Pauline Armour. Earl retired from GM and was a member of First Baptist Church. He married Agnes May in St. Johns on May 8, 1965 and she survives him.

Also surviving is son, Joseph R. (Shari) Moriarty of St. Johns, daughter, Mary (Thomas) Kerby of Maple Rapids, four grandchildren, Biancha and Brandon Moriarty and Kaitlyn and Kasey Kerby, sister, Carol Skorna of St. Johns, brother, Michael Moriarty of Florida and many nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, with Rev. Tim Cockroft officiating, burial at Ford Cemetery in Elsie. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed in the form of memorials to Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor or Meals On Wheels.
