Edna Snow

Edna Rose Snow age 94, of Remus, MI, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Warwick Living Center, Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Merrill Congregational Christian Church, Merrill, MI, on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 12:00 P.M., with Rev. Richard Gossett officiating.  Burial will take place at Lakefield Cemetery Merrill, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church.

Edna was born in Merrill, MI on September 30, 1922, the daughter of Frank and Rose (Dusek) Krupka.  She married Clarence Russell Snow on May 2,1942. Clarence passed away on August 20, 1995.

Edna worked at New Moon Trailer Company in Alma for several years, Michigan Chemical in St. Louis as a Lab Technician for 7 years and also as a cook at the Saginaw County Jail.  Later in life she went on to become a beautician, working out of her home. Edna loved gardening, cooking and feeding her family and friends. She was a member of the Merrill Congregational Christian Church.

She is survived by her daughter Diane and Dave Siler of Remus, MI, grandchildren; Deawn and Rudy Mayan of Merrill, MI, Damin Siler and fiancée Ally Bauman of Saginaw, MI, great grandchildren; Meredith and Dustin (Sweetheart) Humm of Merrill, MI, and Jessica Mayan of Lansing, MI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her siblings.
