Edna Whittaker

Edna M. Whittaker, age 93, passed away on June 11, 2011 in Charlotte, Michigan. Edna was born in Boston, MA on January 1, 1918, the daughter of Harold and Helene (Vipont) Eichbauer. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns and a homemaker. Edna married Harry J. Whittaker on June 1, 1940 and he preceded her in death on December 9, 1997.

Edna is survived by her sons, Larry Whittaker of Titusville, Florida, James Whittaker of Roscommon, Jerry Whittaker of Livonia and Dwight Whittaker of Lansing, 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Memorial Mass will be 11:00 am on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns with Rev. Fr. Eoin Murphy officiating. There will be no visitation. Sympathy may be expressed with memorials to Youth Haven Ranch in Rives Junction, MI or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN or to the Memorial Fund for Veterans of WW II. The family was served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.
