Edna Marie Wicke, age 85, of Elsie, MI, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017, at Welcome Home Assisted Living, Elsie, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI, at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, with Pastor Jeff Reser officiating. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, MI. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI.

Edna was born in Royal Oak, MI on June 7, 1932, the daughter of Walter J. and Alma (Bridewiser) McGuire.  Edna retired from Lear Corporation after 7 years of service. She spent many years selling Combine Insurance and Stanley Home products. She also worked at Clinton County Foster Care and Nixon's Grocery in Bannister. Edna loved gardening and raised Collie's for most of her life. She enjoyed cooking in abundance for her family and friends. She was a member of the Racy Free Methodist Church, the Hippo Club out of the Ashley and Bannister Areas, and was also a member of the Fenmore's Lady Aide.

She is survived by her children;  Patricia Perez of Lansing, MI, Theresa and Ronald McElhaney of Newberry, MI, Sandra Boulis of Elsie, MI, Donna Wicke of Haslett, MI, Bruce and Lori Wicke of Brant, MI, 24 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, sister Dorothy McElhaney of Ashley, MI. She is also survived by 2 special family members; Bonnie Piche and Amy Roman. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren; Cory Boulis, Judy McElhaney, brothers; Harold McGuire, James McGuire, and sister Wilma Roman.
