Edna Wiltsee

Edna Marie Wiltsee, age 88, of Bannister, Michigan died Saturday, November 14,  2015 at Olive Branch Senior Assisted Living, Perry, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.,  with Pastor Joel Thomford officiating.  Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, Michigan.  Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Edna was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 26, 1926, the daughter of Herman and Hulda (Rieke)  Spierkerman.  On December 31, 1955 she married Spencer S. Wiltsee; Spencer died on June 11, 2005.  Edna resided most of her life in Bannister and she had worked for Universal Electric in Owosso, Michigan for 30 years; retiring in 1988. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and shopping with her granddaughters. Edna loved to travel and her cats were special to her.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church Chesaning, MI.

She is survived by her son Kurt and LaDawn Wiltsee, 3 granddaughters; Heather and Jason Watson, Maureen Wiltsee, Jennifer Wiltsee, 2 great grandchildren; Hunter and Jayla, and 2 sisters; Sally Hetzner, and Dorothy and Dean Heartwell.  She was predeceased by her parents, husband, 2 brothers; Junior and Harold and 2 sisters; Carlene and Lilah.
