Edna Wright

Edna Ivalene (Freed) Wright, formerly of Maple Rapids, Perrinton and Lansing, passed away on February 5, 2010 in Salt Lake City, UT at the age of 86. She was born September 1, 1923 in Hatton Township, Clare County, Michigan, the daughter of Anthony J. and Nina (Rumsey) Freed. She was a retired bookkeeper with the Ithaca Office of the Department of Social Services and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in St. Johns. Ivalene married Wendell Wright November 1, 1969 and he preceded her in death July 7, 1984.

Ivalene is survived by three daughters, Geri Williams, Kathleen (John) Munday and Joyce (Bernard) O'Day, stepchildren, David (Carol) Wright, Dennis (Carol) Wright, Douglas Wright, Brenda Mears and Barry Wright, 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Roger Williams, sister, Rosemary Misukaitis and brother, Anthony J. Freed.

Graveside Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, February 17 at Fulton Center Cemetery in Gratiot County.
