Edward Carl Swanchara

       Edward Carl "Ed" Swanchara, age 64, of Elsie, MI passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at his home.

       A cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held at a later date.  Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Elba Township, MI.

       Edward was born in Carson City, Michigan on October 25, 1958, the son of Edward Joseph and Margaret Ann (Ryan) Swanchara.  He graduated from Ashley High School with the class of 1977.  Ed enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked to race at Mid-Michigan Motorplex.  He worked for Green Meadow Farms for about twenty years.

     He is survived by two children: Hunter Swanchara of Elsie, MI; and Shyanne Swanchara of East Lansing, MI; siblings: Cathy Wang, Brenda Hunt, Janice Seyrek, and Andrew Swanchara; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Rodney Swanchara.
