Edwin Boettger

Edwin H. Boettger, 95, passed away on February 7, 2013. Born on June 27, 1917, in Fowler, MI. He was the son of Henry and Anna (Fasking) Boettger. Edwin married Veronica Galvach in Fowler on September 20, 1939 and they spent 72 wonderful years of marriage together. Veronica preceded him in death on July 11, 2011.

Edwin is survived by his children, Sharon (Don Randolph) Backus of Las Vegas, NV, Ed (Rosemary) Boettger of Conifer, CO, Barry (Judy) Boettger of St. Johns, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Veronica Boettger, three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday February 11, 2013, at the St. Johns Lutheran Church with Pastor Brian Salminen officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Senior Center or St. Johns Lutheran Church.
