Edythe Henry

Edythe L. Henry age 94 of Grand Ledge, formerly of Ithaca, Michigan died on Sunday, July 16, 2006 at Fairview Adult Foster Care in Grand Ledge, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel. Rev. Stephen Ezop will officiate with burial at the Ithaca Cemetery in Ithaca, Michigan. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 19 from 6-8 p.m.

Edythe was born in Silverwood, Michigan on March 10, 1912 the daughter of Albert A. and Lillian Irene (Baker) Patterson. She resided most of her life in Ithaca, Michigan. Edythe was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, fishing, and gardening. She was a past member of the Ithaca United Methodist Church. Edythe married Harry Hugh Henry on November 1, 1930. Harry passed away on December 7, 2003.

Survivors include 1 daughter Shari & John Scheibling of Grand Ledge, Michigan, 2 grandsons; Kurt & Debbie Scheibling of Savannah, Georgia, Chris Scheibling of Denver, Colorado, great granddaughter, Megan Scheibling of Guyton, Georgia, niece, Judy & John Carnago of Mattawan, Michigan. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, 2 brothers Victor and Clare "Pat" Patterson, and 1 sister Janet Shults.

Memorials may be sent to, Heartland Hospice 865 S. Cedar Street Mason, Michigan 48854. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel.
