Eileen Wells

Eileen E. Wells, age 91, of Owosso, MI passed into God's arms Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility, Corunna, MI.

There will be no services.

She was born at home on the Burgtorf Farm outside of Cheboygan on July 26, 1919, the daughter of Charles Burton and Sybil Rose (Clark) Burgtorf. She graduated from Cheboygan High School with the Class of 1936. Eileen moved briefly to Laingsburg before settling in the Owosso area.

She was a Gunwinder at Universal Electric Owosso, MI, for 33 years until retiring in 1985. She was an avid reader, reading up to 4 books a week. She also loved her Saturday morning Polkas, visiting with her special friend Faye and helping her family.

Eileen is survived by her two daughters; Sharon Rose Allbright of Applegate, CA and Sandra Kay Lamreaux of Owosso, MI, her grandchildren; Jeff (Lizabeth ) Allbright of Goleta, CA, Dawn McCollum of Colfax, CA, Renee (Bec Steine) Allbright of Sacramento, CA, Ron Hasse of Owosso, MI, Rick (Lisa) Hasse of North Las Vegas, NV, Tim (Yvonne) Lamreaux of Swartz Creek, MI, Tam (Carl) Lamreaux of Salt Lake City, UT, Deborah Wade of Page, AZ, Mike Wells of Phoenix, AZ, Denny (Doug) Freier of Greybull, WY, her 31 great grandchildren, her 12 great-great grandchildren, and her sister-in-law Barbara Burgtorf of Cheboygan, MI. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Ronald L. Wells, brothers; Carl and Glen Burgtorf, sister Mildred Rose Kukla, favorite cousin, Emma Goodall, and her special lifelong friends her Siamese Cats.
